This is your official Air Force Academy History Update for Tuesday, February 10th — 

On this day, back in 1995 — The Cadet Chorale performs at the Miss USA Pageant held at the South Padre Island Convention Center, South Padre Island, Texas. 

…Also on this day, back in 1996 — President William Clinton signs the 1996 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).  Among its provisions, it reduced the length of the active duty service commitment for graduating cadets from six years back to five years.  The 1991 NDAA had increased the commitment effective with the Class of ’96, so the requirement was overturned before going into effect.
