The summer of 2024 will be the Summer of Star Wars for the USAFA family in the Planetarium.
Star Wars: A New Hope, aka Episode IV in the Star Wars Universe is where it all began. Before the Empire was able to Strike Back, before there were Clone Wars, before we knew the Mandalorian – there was A New Hope!
Join us on May the 4th Day at 3:00 pm as we invite only USAFA cadets, permanent party, staff, and their families to enjoy the original Star Wars movie in the USAFA Planetarium dome. In June, we will show The Empire Strikes Back. July we will show Return of the Jedi. August will be a surprise.
An RSVP for this show, A New Hope on May 4th is an RSVP for THIS SHOW ONLY. This is not an RSVP for all Star Wars movies over the summer.
Non-messy snacks and closeable drinks with lids are authorized for this event only in the Planetarium.
ALL ATTENDEES MUST RSVP online to reserve your seats for the movie. With our limited seating, please only reserve seats if you know you will be attending. If you RSVP and your plans change for any reason, please email Jeff our Planetarium Director at planetarium@afacademy.af.edu so we can release your seats.
