AOG members can search a directory of Grads

Search the USAFA Histories page, which requires no membership, only goes up to 2011.

Long Blue Line Portal has a map feature to find Grads. To see this map, users must create a profile in the portal. There is no cost to create a profile and you must be a grad to join.

Often during class reunions, the Association of Graduates organizes special events for former members of clubs and teams. To learn more and inquire about future events, email reunions@usafa.org

There are various opportunities to volunteer on campus, such as supporting a club event or serving as a guest lecturer. To offer your support to a specific department, club or team, email usafa.graduateliaison@usafa.edu.

Much of the campus is open to tourists, to include the Visitor’s Center, Arnold Hall, Planetarium and Field House. The Cadet Chapel is closed for renovations. The cadet area, to include the Terrazzo, dorms and academic facilities are closed to the general public, including graduates, and require special access or an escort. The Association of Graduates hosts reunions for multiple classes each year. For questions,

Do not reach out directly to a club, team or organization when scheduling an event. All on campus activities must first be coordinated via the USAFA Graduate Liaison at usafa.graduateliaison@usafa.edu.

Cadets cannot be mandated to work graduate events. While individual cadets, clubs, and teams may support graduate events on a voluntary basis, cadets are not permitted to miss class or mandatory Cadet Wing events in support of reunions. For special requests, contact the AOG reunion team at reunions@usafa.org.

To officially reserve handicap parking while visiting USAFA, email reunions@usafa.org. Please do not contact the 10th Air Base Wing, the Protocol office or cadet organizations regarding parking for reunions, as this may result in confusion and lack of a parking spot.

Graduates who need to have their class rings repaired or replaced should contact their class ring’s manufacturer. The manufacturer has the expertise and equipment to repair rings or to replace rings and stones. For the manufacturer’s contact information, click here.

The Association of Graduates has successfully recovered and returned dozens of rings over the years. To initiate the search, email alumnirelations@usafa.org the following information: where was the ring last seen, what was the ring size, what type and color of stone, what was inscribed on the inside, and were there any identifying marks or scratches. Please ensure if your contact information changes, you inform the Association of Graduates in the event your ring is recovered.

While each award program has a primary point of contact, USAFA and the Association of Graduates collaborate on most award processes. The Association of Graduates is responsible for the Distinguished Graduate and Young Alumni Excellence awards. The USAFA Graduate Liaison is responsible for the Distinguished Service Award and Jabara Award Programs. USAFA, in conjunction with the Jabara Family and the Association of Graduates, established the Colonel James Jabara Airmanship Award in January 1967. Each year the award is presented by the Superintendent and Association of Graduates to an Active Duty USAFA graduate whose airmanship contributions are of such significance as to set them apart from their contemporaries. Nominations are solicited from each of the Air Force Major Commands, the Space Force, field operating agencies (FOA) – to include the National Guard and Reserve, and direct reporting units (DRU). USAFA established the Air Force Academy Distinguished Service Award (DSA) in February 1999. Each year, the DSA is presented by the Superintendent to a military person, civilian, or group, whose contributions have had a distinct impact on the morale or well-being of the Air Force Academy. Any individual or group who has contributed significantly and directly to the morale or well-being of the Academy through the generous donation of time, resources, or influence is eligible. The Association of Graduates honors graduates who attended USAFA within the last 15 years with our Young Alumni Excellence Award. The award is presented on the basis of the recipient’s outstanding professional achievement and contributions to community, whether in military or civilian life. For more information, click here.
