Bio

Lieutenant Colonel Gilberto Sambolin Perez is a career Intelligence Officer currently assigned as a Deputy Director of Development and History Instructor at the Department of History, United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado.  He mentors over 100 students and manages 12 departmental portfolios, including academic advising, cadet summer research programs, and graduate program scholarships.  Lieutenant Colonel Sambolin Perez is also responsible for annually instructing the History of Modern Warfare case studies to approximately 180 future officers.  Furthermore, he is responsible for developing future officers on military strategy and strategic, operational, and tactical levels of war foundations.
