
Bio
Dr. Kristopher Deming is an Analyst and Assistant Professor in the Office of Labor and Economic Analysis and the Department of Economics and Geosciences. Prior to joining the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2023, he earned his B.A. in Economics from Pacific Lutheran University, a M.A. in Economics from the University of Connecticut, and a Ph.D. from Colorado State University.
Dr. Deming's research interests include topics on applied microeconomics, specifically focusing on labor, public, and regional economics. His current work focuses on factors that affect the performance of veteran-owned businesses and how different policies affect regional economies. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, cooking, and cycling.
