Brian Johns joined the United States Air Force Academy in 2023. Prior to this, he was the Chair of the Department of Physics & Engineering at Cornell College. His past engineering experiences range from building virtual-reality surgical simulators to developing mobile apps. Professor Johns has taught over twenty distinctive college courses throughout the last decade, across diverse institutions both within the United States and internationally. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys writing computer code, designing, and manufacturing.
