Major Robert P. Whisenant is an Instructor of German and the Division Chief for German and French courses at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado. He leads a 14-member team providing 20 German & French undergraduate courses across all skill levels with 1,000 enrollees each year. He is also the lead instructor, course director, and curriculum developer for the 160-lesson Basic German course completed by 100 cadets each year to fulfill a core curriculum graduation requirement.
