Bio
Captain Lauren Mackiewicz is an Instructor of Economics in the Department of Economics and Geosciences, United States Air Force Academy. Captain Mackiewicz earned a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida. Previously, she worked as a developmental engineer (62E) at Buckley Air Force Base where she held the positions of satellite engineer, ground engineer, and flight commander. In her free time, Captain Mackiewicz loves running, baking, and playing piano.
