Bio
Captain Sam Sapita is an Instructor of Management at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Captain Sapita is a 2017 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. Upon commissioning as an Acquisitions Officer, Captain Sapita was assigned to the Joint STARS Program Office at Robins AFB where he helped manage the depot maintenance services contract for the Joint STARS fleet. Prior to his assignment as an Instructor of Management, Captain Sapita received his MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota as part of the USAFA Faculty Pipeline Program. He focused his MBA in Strategic Management.
During his time at the Academy, Captain Sapita worked with the varsity football team from 2013 to 2016 as a student manager. He also serves as the Deputy Director of Personnel for the Department of Management.
