Captain Zachary Kauth is currently an Instructor of Management at the United States Air Force Academy.

Captain Kauth joined the Air Force in May 2008 upon entering the United States Air Force Academy. After graduation from technical school, he was assigned to the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. He first spent time in the Installation Contracting Division working as a contract specialist in the Services and Construction Flights. He then took a permanent change of assignment to the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance/Special Operations Forces Program Executive Office working as a Contracting Officer for the Special Operations Forces & Personnel Recovery Division. After his assignment at Wright-Patterson, he was selected to attend the Naval Postgraduate School at Monterey, CA where he earned his Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Enterprise Sourcing. As his follow-on assignment, he worked as the Category Management Flight Commander at the 763 Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (ESS) Program Management Office (PMO) at Scott AFB, IL. He was responsible for identifying, analyzing, and executing strategic Air Mobility Command and Air Force Enterprise level acquisition solutions. He then took a permanent Change of Assignment to the AIr Force Installation Contracting Activity (AFICC) Operating Location Air Mobility Command to work on the staff as the Branch Chief for Enterprise Solutions.
