This is your official Air Force Academy History Update for Tuesday, March 25th– 

On this day, back in 1966  —  The Falconews reports that Airman First Class Charles Wertz, assigned to the Academy’s Navigation Department, won the first United States Open Indoor Archery Tournament in Las Vegas. 

…Also on this day, back in 2022  —  Academy gymnast Garrett Braunton, Class of ’24, wins the USA Gymnastics title in the all-around at the USAG Collegiate Nationals in Annapolis, Maryland.  He was the sixth Falcon to claim an all-around title.
