Bio

Kristin Chaney is an Education Program Specialist in the Department of Economics and Geosciences. She served nine years as an enlisted member of the United States Air Force, where she worked as a medical administration troop and command post controller.

Following her active duty service, Kristin dedicated herself to teaching social studies and career courses to middle and high school students. Her commitment to education and her ability to engage and inspire students have been hallmarks of her teaching career.

Currently, Kristin is pursuing a PhD in Educational Leadership, Research, and Policy at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). Her research interests lie in the art of teaching and learning, and she is deeply committed to advancing educational practices and policies.
