Bio
Mr. Richard Rogers is the Deputy Director of USAFA’s Research Office. He supports the Associate Dean of Research and directs the Research Office staff managing a $40M annual research budget, sustaining hundreds of research collaborations, and facilitating technology transfer & transition in support of Air Force Academy research endeavors involving faculty, staff and cadets, often in partnership with government and industry research partners. Mr. Rogers has more than 40 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering and Acquisition including USAF active duty career assignments in program offices, laboratory and test & evaluation organizations, as well as extensive industry experience. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from USAFA and M.S. in Computer Engineering from AFIT.
