Bio

Lt Col Atkinson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the U.S. Air Force Academy. His career as a 15A, Operations Research Analyst, has spanned assignments in test & evaluation, the Air Force Research Lab, Pacific Air Forces headquarters, and Special Operations Joint Task Force Central. He earned his PhD in Operations Research from the Air Force Institute of Technology and conducted his dissertation research on wavelet-based model validation of functional data.
