8 cadets graduate in July 30 ceremony

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. — The Air Force Academy’s Class of 2020 grew to 975 graduates when eight graduates were added to the school’s alumni roster, July 30.

The graduates are Tyler Belyeu, Kyle Bundesmann, Steven Lamoureux, Eric Long, Kealohilani Mahi-Lyons, Denise Ssozi, Megan Weld and Trevor Whiteside.

Belyeu earned a bachelor’s in management; Bundesmann, Mahi-Lyons and Weld earned a bachelor’s in biology; Lamoureux and Whiteside earned a bachelor’s in general studies; Long earned a bachelor’s in civil engineering; and Ssozi earned a bachelor’s in legal studies.

Dr. Hall Taylor, the school’s deputy head for student academic affairs and registrar, hosted the ceremony attended by Academy Superintendent Lt. Gen. Jay Silveria, Dean of Faculty Brig. Gen. Linell Letendre; Athletic Director Nate Pine; and Commandant of Cadets Brig. Gen. Michele Edmondson.

Edmondson administered the Oath of Office to the graduates.
