Bio
Capt Luke Vowell is an Instructor of Management at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado. He also serves as the Director of Graduate Studies and Deputy Director of Assessment for the Department of Management. Prior to his current position, he served as the Chief of Requirements for the Evolved Strategic SATCOM office at Los Angeles Air Force Base where he led a 20-member government and civilian team working on $16B satellite acquisition designed to maintain critical satellite communications in austere circumstances.
Capt Vowell is a native of Greenfield, Indiana. He entered the Air Force in May 2017 as a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and commissioned into the Space Force in January 2021.
