Bio

Captain Cynthia A. Schroll is an Instructor of Chemistry at the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Captain Schroll received her commission through Officer Training School at Maxwell, AFB in 2019. She graduated with her Doctorate of Philosophy with an emphasis in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Cincinnati in 2013. Her civilian leadership experience includes a wide range of chemical industry experience in areas such as sales and marketing, product management, teaching, environmental testing, safety management, national laboratory contracting, and research and development. In total, she has over 30 years of chemistry experience along with authoring two books, eight peer reviewed journal articles, and one patent. Prior to her current position, the Captain was a Portfolio Manager, Analysis Branch, Strategic Integration Directorate, Air Force Technical Applications Center, Patrick SFB, FL.
