Bio

Lt Col Ethan Holt is Assistant Professor of Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, USAF Academy, Colorado. He serves as the assistant course director for Chemistry 100 and mentor for future Air Force officers.

Lt Col Holt commissioned in 2002 through AFROTC at Michigan Technological University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. He later earned his Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Chemistry from the University of New Mexico and the University of Florida, respectively, with emphasis in spectroscopy and organic chemistry. Throughout his Air Force career, Lt Col Holt has been a bench-level researcher, airborne sensor operator, program manager, exchange officer, educator and supervisor. Prior to his current position, he served in various leadership and staff positions in the Materials and Manufacturing Directorate, Air Force Research Laboratory.
