I graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1997 and began my Air Force career as an acquisitions officer in Dayton, Ohio and then San Antonio, Texas working on a variety of programs to include un-manned aircraft, electronic countermeasures, and chemical/biological defense.

In 2002 I began teaching accounting and finance at the US Air Force Academy. I separated from active duty in 2004 and started my financial services practice while continuing to serve as a reserve officer at U.S. Air Force Academy.

I am married to the former Sierra Gould of Roseburg, Oregon and we have three children – Zoe (13), Jude (11), and Piper (7).
