Dr. Cynthia Cycyota
Professor of Management
Dr. Cynthia Cycyota is a Professor of Management at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado where she began teaching in 2002. Her current research and teaching interests include strategic management and entrepreneurial strategies, international business, organizational diversity, and volunteerism in corporate social responsibility.
Dr. Cycyota has published in top professional journals, serves on numerous editorial boards, and is an active member of several professional associations. She received her PhD from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2003, an MBA from Wright State University, and undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Missouri. Prior to academia, she was a manager for two international accounting firms and a Chicago bank.
Cyndy and her husband are active volunteers with the Student Conservation Association, the Limb Preservation Foundation, and the Denver Area Council of Boy Scouts of America. They enjoy hiking, traveling, and visiting their three sons.
