10th ABW recognizes outstanding Airmen
By Laurie Wilson, Oct. 27, 2017 U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- The 10th Air Base Wing recognized 10 outstanding Airmen performers Oct. 19 at the Air Force Academy. Kelly Peterson, 10th Communications Squadron project manager, was nominated as the exceptional performer in the Senior Civilian category. “It was just so unexpected that it brought tears to my eyes,” she said. “It was humbling and appreciated.” Combined, the group of 20 civilian, enlisted and commissioned nominees completed 27 college hours, earned GPAs of 3.5 or higher and completed nearly 200 hours of continuing-education directly related to their Air Force specialties.
