March Out to Jacks Valley
Basic Cadets from the Class of 2030 march to Jacks Valley to begin the second phase of Basic Cadet Training. There, they live in a field environment and assemble their own tent encampments. Second BCT challenges cadets with activities such as the assault course, obstacle course and leadership reaction course. It also introduces them to small-unit tactics, weapons familiarization and other skills that build confidence, teamwork and readiness for military service.
