AF Academy welcomes visitors to view lunar eclipse at planetarium Jan. 20
(Commons photo) U.S. Air Force Academy Public Affairs, Jan. 9, 2019 U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colorado -- The Air Force Academy welcomes visitors to view the total lunar eclipse at the base planetarium, Jan. 20 and chat with the school’s observatory director. The eclipse is predicted to last an hour and be visible from anywhere in the U.S. The evening’s activities are slated to begin at 7 p.m. at the newly-renovated planetarium with the showing of the film, “Eclipses and Phases of the Moon.” The 20-minute film details a lunar eclipse.
