Bio
Capt Savanna Whitaker is an Instructor of Management at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado. She also serves as the Director of Technology for the Department of Management. Prior to her current position, she was a Space Operations Officer assigned to the 2d Space Operations Squadron, Schriever AFB, Colorado. While there, she served as a Global Positioning System (GPS) Crew Commander where she led a ten-person combat mission-ready operations crew in the operational control and anomaly resolution of the nation’s space-based navigation satellite systems.
Capt Whitaker is a native of Paris, KY. She entered the Air Force in June 2016 as a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and commissioned into the Space Force in September 2020.
