IMPORTANT NOTE: With our limited seating\, if you RSVP and your plans change for any reason\, please email Jeff our Planetarium Director at planetarium@afacademy.af.edu so we can release your seats to another family who can attend. \nBASE PASS:\nVisitors to the Academy either need a valid DoD ID card\, be in the same vehicle with a valid DoD ID card holder\, or request a base access pass for the correct date by using the link at the top of the Planetarium website.

DESCRIPTION:Homeschool Program: Over the Moon: Artemis II and the next Human Space Exploration \nMonday\, Mar 16 from 10:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. \nThe future of Human space exploration and lunar exploration begins with Artemis II – the next crewed mission to send astronauts out and around the Moon. \nJoin Dr. Dan Polsgrove\, Astronomer\, Planetarium educator and former Astronomy professor here at the Academy\, for a detailed discussion of the Artemis missions\, specifically Artemis II and how this program is meant to not only get astronauts back onto the Moon\, but also why we are planning to stay and build a future for humanity in space as well as on Earth. \nIn addition to the Live portion\, this program will also include the short film\, Forward! To the Moon\, highlighting the Artemis Program and detailing many of the reasons we are going back to the Moon to stay. \nWith our limited seating\, please only reserve seats if you know you will be attending.
