NCLS kick-off event: Cadet Cook-off Competition & Fireside Chat with Chef Irvine

U.S. Air Force Academy cadets will learn about leadership from celebrity chef Robert Irvine for the National Character and Leadership Symposium Kick-off event.

Leading up to the event, cadets will participate in rounds of cooking competitions with the top three teams competing Oct. 11. Chef Irvine and our Academy celebrity judges will judge the cadet teams’ meal. The winning team will enjoy lunch in the Mitchell Hall staff tower the following day with the chef.

Not only will our cadets have an opportunity to cook for the chef, but they will also gain insight during a fireside chat Oct. 12. Cadets can submit questions in advance, and the public can watch the livestream on this webpage.


Chef Robert Irvine
