National Character and Leadership Symposium

Cadets during a National Character and Leadership Symposium event at Arnold Hall.

Feb. 20-21, 2025
Location: Arnold Hall – 2308 Cadet Dr, Air Force Academy, CO 80840

NCLS 2025 is a three-day symposium that will explore the theme of Warrior Ethos as it influences the journey to become a leader of character. Warrior ethos is the embodiment of the warrior spirit: tough-mindedness, tireless motivation, an unceasing vigilance, a commitment to be the world’s premier air, space, and cyberspace force, and if necessary, a willingness to sacrifice one’s life for the defense of the nation. U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force warfighters exemplify warrior ethos by examining the profession of arms and the nature of war through many perspectives and cultural dynamics.

This year, NCLS will connect participants with combat-experienced servicemembers in presentations and discussion sessions to encourage reflection and motivate personal action.

Registration opens to the public Jan. 8, 2025.
