The symposium is open on a first-come-first-served basis to the first 200 undergraduate student registrants from colleges and universities worldwide. Undergraduate students must be between the ages of 18 and 26 to participate. THERE IS A LIMIT OF FOUR STUDENTS PER COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY. Additional registrants from a given university will be placed on a waiting list and contacted if more student openings become available.
Undergraduate student participants are college students aged 18-26. If you fall into this age range, please register as a visiting student. If you are an undergraduate or graduate student over the age of 26, please register as a visiting faculty member.
Visiting students must be sponsored by a faculty member or representative from their college or university. Accompanied students are required to provide the name and contact information for their sponsoring faculty member. Undergraduate students not accompanied by a faculty member are required to provide a copy of their sponsorship documentation at time of registration.

For Those Planning to Fly:
Undergraduate student participants planning to fly into Colorado will be responsible for their airfare arrangements to and from the Colorado Springs Airport. The Air Force Academy will provide ground transportation between the Air Force Academy and the Colorado Springs Airport on Wednesday, February 20th, and again on Saturday, February 23rd.
Undergraduate student participants planning to fly into the Denver International Airport will be responsible for their transportation to and from the Air Force Academy.
For Those Planning to Drive:
Undergraduate student participants planning to drive to the Air Force Academy must provide anticipated time of arrival and departure. Maps and further guidance for access to the Academy will be provided prior to the event.
You will be prompted for your travel information at time of registration. If you do not have confirmed travel plans, please provide your anticipated itinerary. Once you have confirmed your travel, please send an update with your name and reservation confirmation number to firstname.lastname@example.org. Travel plans must be confirmed no later than January 31st.
Undergraduate student participants (between the ages of 18 and 26) will be housed at no cost in the Air Force Academy Cadet Dormitories. The two Academy dorms, Vandenberg Hall and Sijan Hall, are co-ed dorms with gender-separate shower facilities. When registering, students may request a specific USAFA cadet with whom they wish to room. Every attempt will be made to accommodate your request.
Due to space constraints, we will only provide lodging for the first 200 visiting students.
Undergraduate student participants will be provided meals for the duration of the conference. The cost of the meals is $60.00 (Cadet Dining Facility “Mitchell Hall”) and must be paid no later than January 30th. Symposium dinner on Thursday night is for faculty only.
