  • Once January 2024 begins, you may modify your registration to allow for adding sessions to learn from the speakers.

Registration Process
Undergraduate Student participants are college students aged 18-26. If you fall into this age range, please register as a visiting student.

If you are an undergraduate or graduate student over the age of 26, please register as a community member, meaning you will not qualify for complimentary lodging.

When registering as a Visiting Student, you will be lodged in the cadet lodging facilities. If you would like to make lodging arrangements separately, please register as a community participant starting January 3rd, 2024. If you plan to stay off-base, or Visiting Student registration has reached capacity, you may register as a Community attendee, starting January 3rd. A link will be posted on our website in January: NCLS Registration • United States Air Force Academy (usafa.edu)

Sponsorship
Visiting students must be sponsored by a faculty member or representative from their college or university. Accompanied students are required to provide the name and contact information for their sponsoring faculty member. Students not accompanied by a faculty member are required to provide a copy of their sponsorship documentation at the time of registration.

Travel
Visiting students should plan to arrive no later than 2:00 pm MST.

For Those Planning to Fly:
Student participants planning to fly into Colorado will be responsible for their airfare arrangements to and from Colorado Springs Airport. The Air Force Academy will provide ground transportation between the Air Force Academy and the Colorado Springs Airport on Wednesday, February 21st, and again on Saturday, February 24th.

Student participants planning to fly into Denver International Airport will be responsible for their transportation to and from the Air Force Academy.

For Those Planning to Drive:
Student participants planning to drive to the Air Force Academy must provide time of arrival and departure. Maps and further guidance for access to the Academy will be provided prior to the event.

Your registration needs to be updated with your travel information no later than January 31, no exceptions. If travel information is not received by the designated deadline, your spot in the event is subject to forfeiture.

Lodging
Undergraduate Student participants aged 18-26, who have completed the registration requirements process will be housed at no cost in the Air Force Academy Cadet Dormitories. The two Academy dorms, Vandenberg Hall and Sijan Hall, are co-ed dorms with gender-separate shower facilities. When registering, students may request a specific USAFA cadet with whom they wish to room. Although not every request can be guaranteed, we will do our best to accommodate your request. Due to space constraints, we will only provide lodging for the first 200 visiting students. Rooming assignments for visiting students will be done and announced towards the end of January.

Meals
Student participants will be provided meals at a cost for the duration of the conference. The cost of the meals in the Cadet Dining Facility “Mitchell Hall” will be available at the time of registration and payment must be done in-person at registration on Wednesday, February 22nd between 10:00 am and 10:00 pm.

Visiting students from a service academy and HQ-sponsored AFROTC cadets will have their meal fee waived at checkout. Discounts will be automatically applied to their email address.

Payment Policy: Cancellations for meal registrations must be done before February 8th, 2024 5:00 p.m. MST. If you have registered for meals and do not attend the event without notification of cancellation, you will be liable for the balance of the meals you registered for. We cannot accommodate new meal requests past February 8th, 2024. If you need to cancel your meal registration, you can do so via your email confirmation (edit your registration), or by emailing us to ncls@afacademy.af.edu with your request before February 8, 2024 5:00 p.m. MST.
