The mission of the Readiness Management Group is to ensure individual reservists are "war-time ready." The vision statement identifies "individual reservists" and not IMAs. The RMG is comprised of IMAs and Participating Individual Ready Reserve personnel. "The IMAs and PIRR are assigned to active Air Force organizations, combatant commands, Department of Defense, State Department, foreign embassies, etc., providing a global presence. "With shared or specified administrative control, it's important to ensure both AFRC and active duty organizations understand and manage the expectations within the construct of the RMG. Individual reservists, along side their active duty peers, are leading and or supporting our leaders in fighting the global war on terror and increased steady state requirements.
