Travel Entitlements

Husky Parents,

There seems to be some confusion in regards to travel entitlements for your students. Hopefully, the following will clarify:

Each student is reimbursed expenses for their initial travel to the United States Air Force Academy. In this case, travel to the Preparatory School for In-processing/Basic Training is your student’s initial travel. Following graduation from the USAF Academy, all students are then reimbursed expenses for travel to their first assignment. If a student is disenrolled (voluntarily or involuntarily) from either the Preparatory School or Academy they are reimbursed expenses for travel to their respective home of record. All other travel to/from the USAF Academy (including to the Academy for In-processing, summer & holiday breaks) is at the students own expense.

I hope this clears up any and all confusion.

If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact Mr. Mark Winter, (719) 333-3057.
