| PARENTS CLUB PRESIDENTS MEETING 7:30 - 4:00 p.m. Doolittle Hall Parents Club presidents will meet at Doolittle Hall on Thursday. Activities include a question and answer session with USAFA senior officials and various presentations. |
| CADET CHAPEL Weekdays & Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The cadet chapel is open to visitors daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except on Sunday when it will be open following worship services. Call the chapel for worship services schedule during Parents' Weekend (719) 333-2636. |

| UPPER-CLASS BREAKFAST 6:00 - 8:00 a.m. Mitchell Hall Upper-Class cadets ONLY may bring guests. Cadets must purchase guest tickets; no tickets will be sold at the door. Upper-Class cadets not hosting guests and all other cadet classes may stay to eat or grab a snack and depart. Breakfast is mandatory for all cadets. Parents and guests may purchase tickets directly from Academy Concerts located in the Arnold Hall Student Center in person or by phone at (719) 333-4497. Academy Concerts is open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Credit cards (Visa or Master Card) are accepted. Your cadet may also purchase tickets and provide them to you upon your arrival at USAFA – please make sure to coordinate with your cadet to ensure you are not duplicating each other’s’ ticket purchases! Guests must be escorted by their cadets to Mitchell Hall. |

| AIR WARFARE LAB (AWL) TOUR 7:30 - 9:10 a.m. Fairchild Hall, Room 2H28 Cadets and their guests are invited to visit the flight simulators in the AWL. Tickets are not required. The flight simulators offer many cadets a “first look” at flying and aviation in the Air Force. Guests must be escorted by their cadets at all times while in Fairchild Hall |
| PARENTS' WEEKEND INFORMATION FAIR 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Arnold Hall Ballroom Doors of Arnold Hall open at 7:00 (coffee, breakfast items available) -- information fair in the ballroom will open at 8:00 a.m. Parents, guests and their cadets are invited to browse the many vendors at the USAFA Information Fair held in Arnold Hall Ballroom, and then stick around for lunch available from Subway and Godfather's Pizza. Base organizations will provide a variety of information on the Academy, including free parent handbooks, sales of BCT videos and Warrior Photos, and an opportunity to talk with the Association of Graduates, Dean of the Faculty, Commandant of Cadets and Airfield staff. Cadet Wing Media will be set up to take photos of you and your cadet. Cadet performing groups will be on stage in the ballroom during the lunch hour. | VECTOR PROGRAM ORIENTATION 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Arnold Hall Banquet Room Vital Effective Character Through Observation and Reflection (VECTOR)is the foundational character development seminar that all cadets attend during their freshman year at USAFA. This VECTOR informational session will provide an overview of the topics cadets discuss and include videos, experiential exercises and discussions on topics such as personal/institutional values, personal purpose and the power of vision to facilitate the discussion of character and leadership concepts involving the cadets' lives here at USAFA and in the Air Force. | CADET WING PARADE 9:23 - 11:00 a.m. Stillman Parade Field Mandatory for cadets and open to their guests and the public. Come to Stillman Field early (9:23 a.m.) to watch exciting aerial demonstrations and other activities by cadet clubs such as a falcon flying demonstration, the Wings of Blue and glider landings on the parade field. Seating at the parade is first-come, first-served. Arrive early for airmanship demonstrations, such as the USAFA Wings of Blue and a glider demonstration, as well as various aircraft flyovers. Cadets will be released on the field following the parade to meet with their guests. Please do not bring large bags/backpacks to the parade. Cameras, video cameras and binoculars are permitted - please be prepared to remove lenses for security inspection at the parade field entrance. If the parade is cancelled for severe weather, guests may visit the Information Fair at Arnold Hall or check with their cadet to see whether their Squadron has moved up their Open House to 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. |

| CADET PERFORMANCE SHOWCASE 11:30 -12:30 p.m. Arnold Hall Don't miss this entertaining extravaganza of music and dance performed by the Cadet Show Choir, Orchestra, Chorale and other performing groups on the stage in the Arnold Hall ballroom. |
| FOURTH-CLASS LUNCH 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Mitchell Hall MANDATORY FOR ALL FOURTH-CLASS CADETS. TICKETS REQUIRED. Fourth-Class cadets & guests ONLY may attend. Guest tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and must be purchased in advance by cadets. There is no limit to the number of guests cadets may bring to this function. | AIRFIELD OPEN HOUSE 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. USAFA Airfield The USAFA airfield will be open to visitors from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to provide orientations and answer parent questions. Come view static displays of USAFA aircraft and visit with the staff of the306th Flying Training Group. Cadets must escort their guests to the airfield. The 306th Flying Training Group is located east of Stadium Boulevard and welcomes guests escorted by their cadet on Friday of Parents' Weekend. | SQUADRON OPEN HOUSES 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. Vandenberg and Sijan Halls (Cadet Dormitories) MANDATORY FOR CADETS. Each squadron will host an open house in the cadet dormitories, Sijan and Vandenberg Halls. If the cadet parade is cancelled Friday morning, some Squadron Open Houses may be held earlier in the day (10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.).You may meet with your cadet to tour his/her squadron dormitory and meet their Air Officer Commanding (AOC) and Academy Military Trainer (AMT). Cadet squadrons 1-23 are located in Vandenberg Hall; cadet squadrons 24-40 are located in Sijan Hall. Following the open houses, cadets may depart the Academy in the company of their adult guests. Cadets must report back to the Academy for accountability formations prior to the football game on Saturday morning. |
| USAFA Observatory Open House Observatory, East of Fairchild Hall 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. The USAFA Physics and Astronomy Club invites you to come view the night sky through our 24” telescope! You will have the opportunity to tour the facility, see images taken on our own 24 inch telescope, use the telescope to explore your universe first hand (weather permitting) and hear some of the incredible history and lore behind the constellations that can be seen from our vantage point, 7258 feet above sea level! |

| USAFA HOME FOOTBALL GAME 12:00 p.m. Falcon Stadium USAFA hosts a home football game against Colgate Universityon Saturday, 31 August, at noon in Falcon Stadium. For tickets, call the USAFA Athletic Ticket Office at (800) 666-8723 or (719) 472-1895 or go on-line to http://goairforcefalcons.cstv.com/tickets/afa-tickets.html. You do not need to purchase a ticket for your cadet. All cadets are required to sit in the designated cadet seating section for the entire football game through the playing of the 3rd verse of the Air Force Song at the end of the game. Following the football game, cadets are welcome to depart the Academy in the company of their adult guests for the rest of the holiday weekend. All cadets must sign in by 7:10 p.m. on Monday (10:45 p.m. for First-Class cadets). |

| JACKS VALLEY ORIENTATION TOUR 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Parking available in Cadet Field House Lots. The Jacks Valley orientation tour offers you an opportunity to visit the site of the Basic Cadet Training (BCT) field training exercises.Cadets must escort their guests. Walking shoes and unopened, clear water bottles recommended. No privately owned vehicles are allowed in Jacks Valley. Shuttle buses will run to Jacks Valley from the Field House parking lots every 15 minutes. The last bus will depart for Jacks Valley at 1:00 p.m., and the last bus will return from Jacks Valley at 2:00 p.m. |
