Project Name: Digital Pen Description: History 330, “Historiography and Methods,” requires that cadets research historical data and write a 5,000-7,000 word term paper. Normally, the note taking, data, and source citations are kept using pen/pencil and paper as well as note cards. For this project, we would randomly select two sections of History 330 and assign one class to use only the traditional pen/pencil method, while the other class will use Digital Pens. An exploratory qualitative and quantitative analysis of the Digital Pens’ impact will be performed. IRB approval has been obtained.
Timeline: The project will be conducted during the spring semester of 2009.
