Validation credit is awarded to incoming cadets for scores of four or five on the College Board's Advanced Placement examination in various academic subjects. Discretion is up to the academic departments. Scores should be requested to be sent to The United States Air Force Academy for consideration. Validation credit can also be awarded to those students who took the IBO/International Baccalaureate exams as well. Again, discretion is up to the academic departments. Scores should be requested to be sent to The United States Air Force Academy for consideration.
Placement exams are given to incoming cadets in certain subjects during the first week at the Academy, and based on these scores, cadets can be given validation credit and placed into advanced or accelerated courses.
Transfer credit may also be awarded to cadets for courses taken at other colleges and prep schools. Requested to have your transcripts to:
