Career Summary

Colonel James L. Cook became Head of the Department of Philosophy, US Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado, in June 2002, and was confirmed by the Senate as Permanent Professor in October 2002.  Colonel Cook was commissioned at the Officer Training School, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, in 1985.  He has served in a variety of communications-computer-related positions at the Pentagon and in NATO.  He is also a fully-qualified Foreign Area Officer.
