Visual Flight Simulators

The T241, designed and developed by FRASCA International of Urbana, Illinois, represents a significant leap forward both in terms of technology and educational productivity from previous versions of aircraft simulators at USAFA. The T241 provides cadets with 120 degree visual displays of their environment, GPS, and allows for realtime interactions with other units via simulated radio communications and realtime visual representation of the other aircraft. Mmapping is continually being updated to provide opportunities for cadet to experience multiple terrain and environments.
