Chrysler Transmission Files

Click on the zip file to download the package. It contains all the avi files shown below and the executable "42LE.exe". "42LE.exe" is a small file (24KB) that executes the graphical user interface (gui). Each 42LE gear can be animated by running an *.avi by clicking the appropriate button on the gui. The simulation usually works best when run from the hard drive.

After downloading the .zip file you will need to extract the files using a compression utility such as WinZip or PowerArchiver.

Click on the link using your right mouse button and select "Save Target As..." if you wish to download the .avi file to your computer. Otherwise, click on the link with your left mouse button and the .avi file will play over the internet.


For each of the five gears:
A yellow colored component is the input from the engine and torque converter. A red colored component is held. The front ring/rear carrier is colored green and is always the output.
