AFOTEC hosts Academy Cadet Summer Research Program for third year


The Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center is hosting the U.S. Air Force Academy's Cadet Summer Research Program for a third year at AFOTEC locations in California, Florida, Nevada, and Texas. Cadets work on real-world Air Force projects for three- and five-week sessions starting in June.

Cadet learning and development is the cornerstone of all we do at the Academy. I can say with confidence, that our military and civilian faculty is 100 percent committed to our cadets and their success as future officers. We on the faculty have said many times in the past and as we truly believe- “cadet success is our success.”

With ever-evolving technical and global needs facing us, it is imperative we commission officers who, when called upon, can successfully overcome new challenges. We are preparing cadets to become officers of character who embody the Air Force core values of Integrity, Service, and Excellence; who are committed to societal, professional, and individual responsibilities; who are empowered by integrated intellectual and warrior skills; and who are grounded in essential knowledge of the profession of arms and the human and physical worlds.    More...
