Course Description:

 

Computer Systems Analysis and Design II. 3(1). Second course in the two semester project design sequence for Computer Engineering majors. Continues study of software and hardware life-cycle, emphasizing system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Includes the design, fabrication, coding, and testing of a significant hardware/software system with emphasis on documentation and standards. Term project implements main concepts. Final Project.

Course   Objectives:  

Develop student's knowledge and skills relating to computer system design. Specifically: 
  1. Plan and implement hardware components for an integrated hardware/software project
  2. Plan and implement software components for an integrated hardware/software project
  3. Create and execute an integration and test plan
  4. Create proper documentation for all phases of the development process
  5. Contribute effectively to an engineering team
