MILITARY FACULTY
Military Positions | Military FAQ | Advanced Degree Sponsorship
The Department of
Civil and Environmental Engineering (DFCE) needs instructors in
Construction, Environmental Engineering, Structural Engineering,
Geotechnical Engineering, and Architecture. 75% of our faculty
are military officers who hold a Master’s or Doctorate Degree in
one of those disciplines. Each year we also sponsor Air Force
officers for advanced degrees and instructor preparation through
the AFIT/CI program.
Timeline
Packages should ideally be submitted by August 1st to begin
school the following summer/fall. These deadlines are definitely
not firm and will be modified depending on the number and
quality of applicants.
