MILITARY PERSONNEL
DEPARTMENT OF ASTRONAUTICS
Position Description:
As an instructor in the Department of Astronautics, you'll instruct cadets in basic and advanced astrodynamics courses, controls, and system engineering. Our primary mission is to produce the best possible 2nd Lt's for the U.S. Air Force that understand space. You'll provide motivation necessary to develop cadets into career officers for the Air Force.
Instructor Requirements
Required
Master's degree in a technical field
Strong military record
Ability to serve as a positive role model for cadets
Preferred
Ten years or less of active commissioned service
At least three years of commissioned time, excluding any educational or training assignments
Openings
Position openings depend primarily on when people are leaving, which is difficult to predict. We therefore ALWAYS accept applications.
