DISTRIBUTION (LGRDD) SECTION MISSION: The Distribution Section is responsible for transportation of personnel in support of daily and contingency operations. This section consists of the Vehicle Operations, Vehicle Management, and Vehicle Management & Analysis Elements.
Vehicle Operations Element (LRGDDO): Vehicle Operations is the single source for safe and efficient organic ground transportation of personnel within and between installations and other destinations in support of daily and contingency operations. Additionally, this element is responsible for installation vehicle wash rack operations. Also responsible for ensuring timely execution and efficient use of military taxi, mass transportation, scheduled/unscheduled shuttle, cargo movement and U-Drive-It (UDI) services in support of home-station mission and contingency operations. Receives and validates requests for dispatch support services and vehicles to ensure official use compliance in accordance with established policy. Initiates and monitors suspected vehicle misuse case files.
