EEO Governing Directives
Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination in employment based on race, color,
sex, national origin, or religion. Prohibits reprisal/retaliation for
participating in the EEO process or opposing any unlawful employment practice
covered by Title VII.
Age Discrimination in Employment
Act (ADEA) prohibits discrimination in employment based on age (40 years of
age and older).

Discrimination Act prohibits employers from paying employees of one sex less
wages than those of the opposite sex and defines equal work as the jobs being

110) - Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Directive for 29 C.F.R. 1614 incorporates Title 29 CFR, Part 1614.
Force Instruction (AFI) 36-1201, Discrimination Complaints incorporates
Title 29 CFR, Part 1614 and EEOC MD 110. Provides guidance for Department of the
Air Force for the administrative processing of EEO complaints.
Air Force No FEAR Act Data. The No FEAR Act provides protection against retaliation for disclosing possible violations of fraud, waste, and abuse.
